This course is part of Monterey Peninsula College’s Work Experience Program. The goal of Service Learning is to connect your classroom learning with hands-on community engagement. Through placements in nonprofit organizations, schools, public service agencies, and community groups, you will develop professional skills, support community needs, and gain meaningful résumé experience. Service Learning Work Experience acts as a bridge between your education, your career, and your community, giving you the chance to make an impact while exploring career pathways. This course may count toward your certificate, degree, or transfer program, while also demonstrating your commitment to service and leadership.
Students in Service Learning Work Experience gain résumé-building experience while exploring careers and giving back to the community. Opportunities may include:
