To request an extension on an assignment you will make an appointment and come to my office hours (in-person or on Zoom) so we can work together on time management and course material. I can't guarantee an extension on all assignments, but I will do my best to work with you if possible. During the semester I do allow and encourage students to re-submit their reflection papers after they review my comments / feedback and make corrections. Class discussion assignments can not be made up as they are time sensitive and making one up would require the whole class to revisit that assignment. I highly encourage you not to wait until the end of the semester to seek help or request extensions. My goal is to prepare you for your next course and master the course material. Mastery can not be achieved in one week at the end of the course.
Points you receive for graded activities will be posted to the Canvas Grade Book. Click Grades from the Course Navigation menu at the left of the Canvas course home page to see your grades.
Your instructor will update the online grades each time a grading session has been complete—typically within 3-5 days of the due date of an activity. You will see a visual indication of new grades posted on your Canvas home page under the link to this course.
Final grades assigned for this course will be based on the percentage of total points earned and are assigned as follows:

90-100%=A Excellent 80-89%=B Good 70-79%=C Average 60-69%=D Poor 0-59%=F Failing
