Step 1: Talk with a recruiter
Step 2: Report to MEPS, where you will:
Take the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB)
Participate in a Physical Examination.
Meet With a Counselor and Determine a Career.
Take the Oath of Enlistment.
Step 3: After the MEPS, You’ll do one of two things, depending on the terms of your enlistment:
Direct Ship: Report to Basic Training shortly after completing MEPS testing requirements.
Delayed Entry Program (DEP): Commit to Basic Training at a time in the future.
