Suicide Prevention & Resources
Tap into the world's largest network of licensed, accredited, and experienced therapists who can help you with a range of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, trauma, grief, and more. With our therapists, you get the same professionalism and quality you would expect from an in-office therapist, but with the ability to communicate when and how you want.
Search for nearby therapists or counselors by inputting your city, town, or suburb; or zip code; or a provider’s name into the search bar. From there, you can filter providers by the issues they treat, cost, insurance, gender, and other factors to find providers who are well-suited to your needs. To navigate between locations within the same country, enter a new city or zip code into the search bar.
The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Massachusetts (NAMI Massachusetts) is a nonprofit grassroots organization. Founded in 1982, we seek to improve the quality of life for people living with mental health conditions, their families, and their caregivers.
We can all help prevent suicide. The 988 Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals in the United States.
The Massachusetts Behavioral Health Help Line (BHHL) is here to connect you directly to clinical help, when and where you need it. Even if you’re not sure what kind of help or treatment you may need, we can help guide you.
CHL’s Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) provides crisis assessment, intervention and stabilization services in homes, schools and other community settings for youth through the age of 20. YMCI trained professionals will travel to the youth’s home, school, residential program or other community setting–including Emergency Departments– to provide on-site evaluation and crisis intervention services.
