About Me

My name is Mrs. Swartz, and I am very excited to be the district Librarian. This is my 11th year at Moshannon Valley. I have taught Kindergarten, 4th Grade, and 5th Grade at the district. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Communications from Susquehanna University and also completed their Teacher Intern Program. My goal as a teacher is to inspire my students to reach their highest potential. I strive to set a good example for them and provide them with the tools they will need to be successful in their future. One thing I am looking forward to as the Librarian is the opportunity to show my love of books to the students, and the wonderful worlds, ideas, and stories that await them in a new book!
