Please complete everything (that applies to you) before arriving on campus/starting the semester.

Apply for FAFSA

If you are a U.S. citizen and plan to use federal student aid (loans and potential grants), please make sure to apply for FAFSA. Add Missouri Valley College to your FAFSA with the code 002489.

Once your FAFSA has processed successfully, send your Student Aid Index (SAI) number to admissions@moval.edu.

Log in to your MOVAL Email

Your MOVAL Student Email login information (and student ID #) will be sent to the email you applied to Missouri Valley College with. It may take a few days for you to receive your MOVAL email after you submit your enrollment fee. Enroll in Classes

Academic Advisors in the Student Success Center are enrolling first-time freshman in order of Enrollment Fee payments. Your advisor will contact you via email to set up an appointment on Google Meet or Zoom. New transfer, online, and nursing students (no traditional) will be assigned an academic advisor and sent information to set up an appointment.Local students and students on visits can schedule their appointments to be in person.Fall 2025 enrollment is not yet open. Log into Colleague Self-Service

Once you receive the email from IT containing your MOVAL email, student ID, and log-in information, please log into Colleague Self-Service. This website is to view your student account, where you will enroll in classes, access your schedule, see billing and grades, and complete financial aid forms.

It is important to regularly monitor your Colleague Self-Service portal and familiarize yourself with the site.

Submit a Housing Contract

If you plan to live on campus (resident student), you must submit a housing contract to be assigned to a residence. The MVC Housing Contract opens March 10, 2025. You must have a Missouri Valley College email address to apply for housing.After clicking the button below, select "Applying for Housing" and use your MOVAL email to complete the housing application.

Housing Contract

High School seniors: After graduation, please request that your FINAL OFFICIAL high school transcripts be sent directly to MVC Admissions.

Transfer students (or students with college credit): Once your courses are complete, request that ALL official college transcripts be sent directly to MVC Admissions. Transcripts must be on file to determine which credits will transfer.

Transcripts can be mailed, emailed, or sent electronically through services such as National Student Clearinghouse, Parchment, Scoir, and others.

Complete Med+Proctor/Student Affairs Forms

Med+Proctor is used to collect & verify immunization records/TB risk assessment. This is required for ALL Face to Face (resident and commuter) students.

Face to Face students also need to complete the following forms: Emergency Contact, Medical History, Consent to Treat.

Complete a Payment Plan

Before classes begin, your remaining balance must be paid in full or you are required to have a payment plan set up. For resident students, this must be completed before you can complete the check-in process and receive your dorm keys. Payment plan enrollment begins in July.

Where is MISSOURI VALLEY COLLEGE?

Driving Directions:

From the North (Chillicothe): Take Hwy 65 South to Marshall. At the intersection of 65 South and College St., make a left. Continue through two lights and MVC is on your right.
From the South (Springfield): Take Hwy 65 North to Marshall, then take Business 65 N. At the first stoplight, turn right on to College St. and MVC is on your right.
From the West (Kansas City): Take I-70 East to 65 N to Marshall, then take Business 65. At the first stoplight, turn right onto College St. and MVC is on your right.
From the East (St. Louis): Take I-70 West to 65 N to Marshall, then take Business 65. At the first stoplight, turn right onto College St. and MVC is on your right.

Parking Instructions (Welcome Center):

Visitor parking is available in the parking lot located on the corner of E. College Street and S. Brunswick Avenue, directly to the north of the Welcome Center.
