Med+ Proctor Student Information

The MVC Student Health Office is using Med+Proctor to collect and verify immunization records and to complete the required TB risk assessment. You will need to have your MVC student email address to begin the process. This is required for ALL students, including returning, freshmen, and international students. You need to set up/register an account with Med+ Proctor.

MVC's Immunization Policy

Missouri Valley College requires all students to be in compliance with required immunizations. The required immunizations include: 2 doses of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella), 1 TDAP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis), 1 or 2 does of the Meningococcal ACWY, and the Tuberculosis Screening Form. This to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the MVC campus as well as the local community. Missouri Valley College is partnering with Med+Proctor for our immunization compliance and verification process. All students including Freshman, returners, and transfers are required to provide proof of vaccinations through the platform at Med+Proctor. The Student Health Center will not accept any immunization forms as it needs to be submitted through Med+Proctor.

If you are an international student coming from a country that is considered endemic for Tuberculosis (TB), or if you are a domestic student that has traveled abroad or you have other risk factors, a Mantoux Tuberculin Skin Test (TST) or Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) must be administered by a licensed medical doctor and reported accordingly. If you are showing signs of TB disease or have a latent form of the disease, we require additional testing to ensure your TB is not currently active and you will be precluded from attending if you have active TB.

If you request exemption from any vaccination requirements for religious or other purposes you must obtain a waiver request from the Dean of Students. You will be required to explain your need for exemption (i.e. particular religious beliefs) and provide documentation from a licensed medical doctor attesting that you do not currently have Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis, Meningitis, or Tuberculosis. We reserve the right to deny any exemption waiver. In the event of disease outbreak for any of the diseases that vaccination is required, students that are approved for exemption will be immediately removed from campus to prevent the possible spread of disease and will not be granted special opportunity to complete coursework or receive monetary refund. This requirement is to ensure the safety of the exempted student and the entire campus community.

All immunization submissions to Med+Proctor must be done at least 72 hours prior to check-in/arrival at Missouri Valley College. Please submit your immunization records at your earliest convenience. If you fail to adhere to the immunization requirements, you will not be permitted to move into housing nor start classes.
