About me-

I started my professional role in the mental health field in 2012 working as a psychiatric RN in a crisis center that dealt with all areas of mental health and substance abuse.  I went on to get my Bachelors degree in nursing from Appalachian State University in 2017 and my Masters degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University in 2021.  I became board certified and licensed as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner as well in 2021 and started seeing individuals in person and virtually.  I have recently opened up this business to help bridge the gap doing virtual only with a goal to open in person in the future in my local area of Boiling Springs NC.  I grew up in Shelby NC and am married with three daughters, one grandson, six horses, four dogs, two cats and 5 chickens!  I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors.  I have empathy, understanding and compassion; have walked through my own trials in life and want to help you through yours!
