Students are used to maintaining the same routine each week. It may be helpful for students (and you!) to keep some structure in your day.

Our Beechwood Bears are used to having snack and lunch during the day. Students need healthy foods to fuel their day and to keep that brain and body moving.
Take breaks throughout the day. We are dealing with a lot of change and big adjustments here and it can be overwhelming.
Everyone in the house should be getting enough sleep to help them stay focused and energized throughout the day. While it may seem like we are on a stay-cation, students still need to rest their brains to continue learning everyday.
Try this quick 4-3-2-1 grounding exercise! It is great to use during transitions, breaks, and before bedtime!

*Grounding means bringing back your focus to where your body and mind are. Sometimes when are focused on several things at once (especially all at home!) it can be helpful to refocus on being in the present.
