We model kindness, determination, generosity and compassion. Our students learn to help others and analyse the world around them. Teachers champion their students, cheering them on to be the best they can be.
Our young people are prepared for adulthood, for work and leisure, for service in the community and for a confident, fulfilling life.
What Is MCC like for Secondary students?
As a small school, our teachers get to know every student; their goals, strengths and challenges. We know that the transition from child to young adult can be a challenging time. That’s why our pastoral care model supports children’s emotional and social development alongside their academic growth.
Our curriculum includes a broad range of subjects. Being a small school gives us great opportunities to partner with TAFE and distance education programs to offer a variety of elective subjects. This means that all students can pursue their interests.
Secondary students also discover more about life beyond the College. Camps and snow treks teach independence and resilience. Overseas travel and visits to art galleries grow our students’ understanding of culture and their place in God’s world. Outdoor activities like rock climbing and abseiling push their boundaries. Supporting charities develops their compassion and kindness for others. The result is that students graduate from MCC with a wonderful outlook and a promising start to adulthood.
