5th Grade English Language Arts

Brooke grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and spent her childhood riding horses and snowboarding. She discovered her love of teaching after she joined AmeriCorps and worked as a tutor for at-risk students. Brooke returned to college to earn her Master’s degree in Education and has taught in various elementary grades for the last twenty-one years. She especially loves teaching reading and is dedicated to creating a community of passionate readers in her classroom. In her free time Brooke enjoys going on adventures with her family and can usually be found mountain biking, camping, or reading.
