I found that the water temperature was not like we expected the top of the lake was over 65, however the small stream flowing into the lake was suitable for aquatic life at 51 degrees, we suspected that the water lower down was colder to test this theory we looked for fish (which we saw) and compared our findings with our peers and found out the water was healthy.
It has changed my perspective on the importance of understanding the world around me in many ways. I learned about every little detail a source of water needs to be healthy and suitable for aquatic life. Whenever i see a body of water now instead of thinking something like, “can I go swimming?” I wonder if this water is healthy and suitable for life?
One thing that was challenging was the disagreements that accord in this experiment, however the temperature was east to take and we got good results, one thing we could have done better is take it more seriously and tried to understand where my peers were coming from when we argued.
This quiz was about the build of an atom and how to make one, I got an meets because I only got one question wrong, I believe I can change this grade because I am now more informed about this topic, I hope that in the future I can be in a more secluded area and be more prepared.
On this quiz we answerd questions on chemical equations, connecting them, diagrams, and images of experiments. On this test I got a 2 out of five which lands me in approaching. I got this grade because I rushed it and guessed on a lot of questions. I hope in the future I can work better and get a higher grade, and take my time.
With our anchor charts we reinforced our learning and showed in a way that we wanted to, we had to add at least one image a day and at least 3 facts, I got an exceeds!
On this test I took my time and got an exceeds witch means I exceeded expectations! I'm very happy with this result and hope that we can continue learning about this!
The anchor chart is used to show our knowledge and how we learn and procreative information, on this anchor chart I got a meets because I provided the necessary amount of information and pictures. I hope to get an exceeds on my next anchor chart, i will do this by making it on paper
The team collaborated effectively, showing great coordination to solve every clue in record time. By working together and using their individual strengths, the players moved through the challenges with impressive speed. Their unified effort resulted in a successful performance that set a new record for the group.
The team began the challenge without speaking, which made solving different clues at the same time very confusing. However, they eventually learned to communicate more effectively and worked through the chaos. By the end of the activity, their social skills and teamwork had improved significantly. The activity taught them how to apply wave properties to real-world. situations, such as refraction, reflection, and absorption. By exploring these concepts, the parents learned how waves work in everyday life and how to use them to solve problems. This experience gave the group a much better understanding of how science is used outside of the escape room.
Even though more artifacts and better surroundings would have made the experience feel more real, the project was still a success. The parents gave us great feedback and enjoyed everything we made
In the future, I would make the area more decorative to help the setting feel more realistic. I would also start the participants off with an initial clue to get their gears turning right away. This would help the group build momentum and get them excited to solve the rest of the puzzles. Since our group members were already friends, our teamwork was seamless and we worked together naturally. This friendship helped us communicate easily and complete our tasks without any major issues. However, I believe we could have pushed ourselves even further to accomplish more work in the long run.
