why storys matter
The most important thing I learned was how the world came to be with storytelling. What I mean by this is the world would not be the same without stories. In the future this will help me know human history.

Call me American is a heartbreaking story about a young boy from Somalia struggling in his third world country with the Civil War In this book you find his way to America to live a better life in Maine In this story abdi the main character is forced to eat his own skin off his foot because he was starving to death this made me realize how easy my life really is .
