Project 1

plate tectonic lab

we learned how different plate tectonics work and how they are created we represented that by

putting the graham cracker over frosting and then we dipped the graham cracker into water after that we put them together and rubbed them side by side to represent the tectonics.it gave a helpful explanation of how they worked.

Project 2

rock cycle lab

we learned how rocks are formed.for this lab we cut up starbursts the we combined them together to represent how different rocks are formed

this lab has helped me understand what process the rock has to go through to form

we learned about different geological locations

exibition reflection

For the project that we did I feel like I learned a bunch of new things about planets during the research. A couple days before the exhibition it was a little bit scary for me because I had got back from a trip and I had to finish my script and there was a bunch of pressure on me. But towards exhibition day I felt really good and prepared. I feel like I could try to help my group a little bit more but overall it was a really fun experience and I personally liked it. About five minutes before the exhibition our group had a tiny problem with the promethean board and all of the parents were in the room with us, But when ms evans came and fixed it we got back on track. The parents were really interested in the facts that we provided them and the one pager which led them to ask many questions. The parents also seemed to like the prototype that we built. At the last presentation we did it was easy because we presented like four times. We got to finish a little early because our partner had to get ready for the closing statement so I went to watch other groups present. So I learned a bunch of new things.

This research was a really fun part of the exhibition it took a lot of effort and refinement to do but it also came with a lot of new things to learn.

Me and toby did this slide to tell people the downfall of chemicals in the river and what we and the people could do to help we started off my saying that the audience could pick up any trash in the river we also made art witch you will see.

This was me and my partners rough draft i tried to find the finalized but i couldn't sadly

reflection

I feel like the effort on our team was like a meets because while me and my partner were working we were not focused on the time we had all we were focused on was getting the approval on he doc and getting the work done so towards the ending we realized that we did not have any time to sell the bumper stickers. so id say that this exhibition took a lot refinement to complete we could work on our effort tho. as we worked we learned a little about the mine waste spill in the Colorado river and how it killed some fish and was bad for people to go in it for a while this is a good example of teamwork.
