Meet the Teacher

Hello Highview families! My name is Andrew Sorge and I have been teaching social studies at Highview since the 2020 school year. My teaching career started in 2014 in my hometown of West Des Moines, Iowa before I moved to Minneapolis in the spring of 2020. I have a teaching license in 5-12 Social Studies. I am committed to helping every student learn and grow into a successful citizen of our world.

In my free time I enjoy running, biking, traveling and spending time with wife and friends. We live in south Minneapolis with our two black cats, Wrigley and Fenway.
