Geometry in two and three dimensions is studied through investigation, conjecture, and proof. Students will explore geometry through a variety of methods.. The main topics investigated will include angle relationships, parallel and perpendicular lines, congruence, similarity, trigonometry, area, and volume. Algebra skills will be utilized throughout the year while analyzing 2 dimensional and 3 dimensional shapes.
