MVI BOOSTER CLUB
The goal of the MVI (Mounds View/Irondale) Booster Club is to provide support for the gymnasts, Coaches and entire MVI program. The Booster Club helps in providing finances for uniforms, accommodations & much more!
The Booster Club is made up of parents, guardians of current gymnasts and alumni. We would like to welcome you to the program. Please check out our website, find something of interest to you and get involved. It is a great way to meet people and support these young athletes.
PURPOSE AND MISSION OF MVI BOOSTER CLUB
The MVI Booster Club is currently a parent group formed for the purpose of supporting the MVI Gymnastics Team and Mounds View and Irondale High School.
MVI Booster Club Goals:
Organize and schedule fundraising events to help finance the program and offset gymnasts costs
Listen to and work closely with the head coach, as the head coach is the director of the sports program
To encourage good sportsmanship, a sense of pride and tradition within the MVI Varsity and Junior Varsity teams
To provide a positive and supportive environment for team members and their coaches
Organize parent involvement opportunities and create an enthusiastic fan section at all competitions
To promote and publicize the MVI Gymnastics Team, as a sport, within the school and community
MEMBERSHIP
Open to all MVI Gymnastics Team families at Mounds View and Irondale High School, along with any veterans of the program.
FUNDS
The Booster Club will use funds raised to purchase uniforms, purchase equipment needed to further athletes development, fund team activities, and hotel cost as approved by Booster Club members.
MEETINGS
Booster club meetings take place once a month between September and March. It is suggested that one parent/guardian of each gymnast attend these meetings to obtain pertinent information about upcoming events and to volunteer for various fundraising activities. Meeting dates for the 2021-22 season are TBD
