Hello! My name is Rachel Bloomgren and I am looking forward to being your science teacher this year. I absolutely love science and love being able to teach others about science. This is my either year teaching middle school science. I love hands-on science experiences and have chaperoned High School students on a science research trip to Costa Rica a few summers ago. I graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a major in Teaching Life Science and I have a Master’s degree from Arkansas State University in Educational Practice and Theory. I enjoy spending time outdoors doing various activities such as biking, hiking, kayaking, and snowshoeing. I also enjoy reading, spending time with my nieces and nephew, and traveling. I also recently got a new golden doodle puppy and have a pet bunny. I am so excited to be teaching you science this year!
