Instrument Rental from the Music Store
Instruments can be rented from one of the music stores below. Each store has a rent-to-own program where each payment goes towards the purchase of the instrument. More information can be found on the websites.
Students can rent an instrument from the school. Supplies are limited.
Students who rent from the school will need to fill out a rental agreement form, and pay the once a year rental fee. You can either fill out a physical copy of the PDF (found below), or fill out and pay online (link below).
If you want to pay with check or cash, fill out this form and return it to Mr. Johnson or Ms. Hartman.
Reeds
In 6th grade, reed instruments should switch to Vandoren reeds. It is very important that you purchase reeds with a strength of 2 1/2.
In 7th and 8th grade we will begin moving students to stiffer reeds.
I recommend that Trumpet and Baritone players use Al Cass Fast Valve oil.
I recommend that Trombone players use Yamaha Trombone Slide Lubricant for their slides.

A WORD OF CAUTION:
Local music stores are always the best resource for renting or purchasing a band instrument. Instruments purchased through other resources are often poorly constructed and often times unrepairable. Please see your band director if you have any questions about purchasing an instrument you found online. WE DON"T WANT YOU TO WASTE YOUR MONEY.
