Meet your teacher

Hello, My name is Mr. Shawn Breidenstein.  For some reason kids call me Mr. Breadstick, which I think is awesome!  This is my eighth year at Highview teaching Mathematics.  I love helping students discover Algebra and Geometry concepts in a way that makes sense!

Outside of school, my wife Laura and I have a toddler at home that keeps us very busy!   We have two doodle puppies named Calia and Winston.  We are well on our way to our goal of visiting all of Minnesota's State Parks, and find all the most delicious out-of-the-way restaurants!  I also love reading science fiction and fantasy books (Best summer read was the Mistborn series),  playing videogames (Best summer videogame was the Mass Effect series), and watching Marvel & Star Wars Movies!
