About ME

Welcome to 5th grade! I am excited to get started and can’t wait to learn more about your child and family.  This will be my 16th year teaching.  I have taught grades 2, 4, 5, and have been an interventionist teacher.  I am excited to start my first year at Mounds View Schools!

I received my teaching degree in Elementary Education from the University of MN-Twin Cities and later earned my Master's in Education from the U of MN.

I am married with 4 children who are also in the Mounds View District.  Go Irondale!!  When I am not busy going from activity to activity for my kids, I like to watch movies, read, and listen to music.  I also love to travel.  Our latest adventure was staying downtown Chicago.  Our family's favorite destination though is Kauai, Hawaii.

We also have (currently) 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 hermit crab, 1 fish, 1 hamster, and 6 backyard chickens!
