Mounce & Associates has an opening for an entry level Safety Specialist. Relative to the candidate’s education and professionalism, the ideal candidate will work on a team to meet the goals and objectives of the various Clients. To assist in the development and implementation of OSHA Safety & Health Compliance programs.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Candidate must maintain professional standards
Must be able to work as a team to achieve goals and objectives
Must have knowledge in OSHA regulations (29 CFR - 1903, 1904 & 1910)
Assist in the development of OSHA Safety programs
Perform Regulatory Applicability Determinations for various industrial processes
Communicate effectively with team members and clients
Conduct training on regulatory topics
Travel to Client Facilities
Candidates should have:
Bachelors degree or higher
0 years of related experience
Ability to multi-task and manage a variety of project activities
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Effective technical writing skills
Must be US Citizen
Very professional
The position is located in Carrollton, Texas. This is a field position. This position travels to industrial facilities throughout the U.S.
Expected travel (overnight): <40%
Vehicle: You must have a reliable vehicle
Physical Requirements: Must be able to walk 2 miles and climb stairs
