​​What is One School, One Book?

One School, One Book is a program designed to create a singular reading experience within a town community. We will ALL be reading the SAME BOOK at the SAME TIME! Every family will receive a copy of Geronimo Stilton: Lost Treasure of the Emerald Eye along with a reading calendar.  Every night, parents are asked to read the scheduled chapter(s) to/with their children.  The program is designed to be a read aloud experience for both emerging and fluent readers. Therefore, we ask all parents to read the book aloud with their children.  For busy nights, listen to our special guest Tinc Road staff members read aloud. In school, children will be immersed in common vocabulary, daily trivia, and cross-curricular thinking and activities surrounding the  themes within the book.
