December 2018: Unified Sports approved by the Board of Education.
December 2018: Report to the Board of Education on ESSA profile showing disaggregation of student performance data by subgroup.
January 2019: MOTSD adopts districtwide RTI program Consequently, including the Mount Olive Success Academy, to better address performance gaps that exist amongst subgroups and grade levels within MO schools.
In January 2019: based on the ESSA accountability profile that showed in 2017 MOTSD did not meet the cohort graduation rate for African Americans, the MO Pathways academy as a Tier 3 at-risk/drop-out prevention intervention as a key component of our districtwide RTI program.
January 2019: Applitrack online hiring system launched to deliberately increase the diversity of our application pool.
January 2019: MOHS AP incentive program established to increase the AP participation rate of all MOHS students especially those from underrepresented populations.
February 2019: Teachers began mapping all of our curricula in Rubicon Atlas and provided a report to the BoE of compliance with the Amistad Commission mandates.

September 20 19: Special education inclusion implemented in all schools grades K-5.
December 2019: Board of Education approved the Human Rights and African American Studies electives for the 2020-21 school year.
February 2020: Commissioner Repollet invited MOTSD to be an inaugural member of the Amistad Journey program administered by the Amistad Commission and NJEA.
February 2020: Initiated plan to recruit of minority candidates throughout New Jersey's Colleges and universities.
March 2020 Health Related Closure:

June 2020: Student-driven teach-in to discuss the issues of systemic racism and police brutality.
July 2020: Analysis of all of our ELA and Social Studies texts to ensure proper representation of authors of color.
August 2020: Dr. Tyrone Howard addressed the full MO faculty and staff to kick off our examination the relationships between bias, race, culture and the impact it has on our student's learning, development, and sense of belonging. Dr. Howard's visit was over a year in the making having been invited to the district in June of 2019. Following Dr. Howard's presentation there was panel discussion The entire Mount Olive Community was invited to participate in a virtual book club to read and discuss Dr. Howard's book Why Race and Culture Matter in Schools.
