Everything you need to know to use MOTOTV to power the screens at your store!
Your MOTOTV Media Player is very easy to get installed and shouldn't take longer than 5 minutes.
Plug in the Power cord to Media Player & outlet
Connect to your TV (or touchscreen) using the HDMI cable (included). Note, your MOTOTV Media Player can feed as many screens as you desire (no extra fee), just plug the HDMI into your AV distribution network.
Get connected to your internet (hardwired or Wi-Fi). See Wi-Fi Set up Guides
Mount the MOTOTV Media Player. We highly suggest mounting the MOTOTV Media Player behind the TV it's connected to (or placed on a shelf) where it can get plenty of air circulation.

Go to Settings/Wi-Fi on your mobile device and look for the MotoTV_Hotspot network.
Click on the MotoTV_Hotsport network and login using the password mototv1234.
In order to get new content, your MOTOTV Media Player must be online. There are a couple of ways to know if your Media Player is Offline.
If offine, you should see OFFLINE in red on the upper right hand portion of the TV(s) your MOTOTV Media Player is connected to
When you log into your MOTOTV Dashboard and choose your player, you will see a red dot next to any player that is offline, while a green dot signifies it's online (the Dashboard takes about 15-minutes to update after getting a player online so be patient)
Below is a Step-by-Step Guide to getting your MOTOTV Media Player connected to your internet via Wi-Fi.
What You Will Need
USB Keyboard (can be a Bluetooth wireless)
Line of sight to the TV connected to your MOTOTV Media Player
Your Wi-Fi Network (SSID) & Password (Case Sensitive)
Make sure no ethernet cable plugged into MOTOTV Media Player
In the steps below, use the arrow keys on keyboard to move up and down., and where it states PRESS <ENTER>, that is the ENTER button on keyboard.
Your MOTOTV Media Player can also be connected via a hardwired Ethernet cable (CAT6). One end goes into the Ethernet port on the Media Player while the other end connects to your internet router.

If your MOTOTV Media Player is already powered up and running video, go to Step 2. If not, turn it on (power button is on front or top, depending on model), and let it go through the entire setup process (could take about 60-seconds). Once you see video playing on your screen, you know it's completed the setup process and safe to go to Step 2.
Connect USB keyboard to the MOTOTV Media Player that is offline or needs to move to another Wi-Fi Network.
PRESS and HOLD the <CTRL>, <ALT>, and <W> keys at the same time, until you see the Network Manager screen appear.
Use the DOWN ARROW on keyboard to move the cursor to "Activate a connection."
Press <ENTER>
You will see a list of available networks (Wired & Wi-Fi). For Wi-Fi, use the UP & DOWN ARROWS on Keyboard to highlight your Wi-Fi network.
Press <ENTER>
A Pop Up Authentication Window Will Appear
Enter your Network Password (case sensitive)
PRESS <ENTER>
If the connection is successful, a single asterisk will appear next to the Wi-Fi network name
Press <ESC> key to get to the Network Manager Screen

Using ARROWS on keyboard, select Quit
Press <ENTER>
Your Media Player will restart (could take about 60-seconds). When the video comes back, you should see ONLINE (in green) in the upper right of the screen for a few seconds
Give yourself a high-five!
If your network requires Static IP settings or other advanced configurations, those changes can be made from "Edit a connection."
Depending on our subscription, you most likely have access to the MOTOTV Dashbord to take control of your screens. We created this Dashboard with simplicity in mind, so you can make changes quickly & efficiently, so you can go back to running your business and let your screens help you sell!

To Log In:
On any browser go to https://mototv.mototvnetwork.net/login
Log In using your Username & Password
Click Forget Password if needed (you will get an email to reset)
If you forgot your Username or email associated with your MOTOTV Dashboard, reach out to MOTOTV Support at 720.583.3835 or mototv@mototvnetwork.com for assistance.
Once logged in, you will see a variety of selections on the left-hand side, depending on the network you are subscribed to and which MOTOTV Media Player you select (if you have multiple subscriptions). Details for each of these tools are in this Help Center Section.

You can find your invoices here as well as update your payment method.
If you have multiple subscriptions, you can use this to rename your players to something that makes sense for you, such as Showroom or Parts Counter.
In this section, you can choose the brands & products that you sell and want to promote in your store.
Simply CHECK THE BOX to the left of any brand you carry, then click the ACTIVATE Button and these changes will take effect the next programming day.
You also have ability to save your Brand Lists in case you want to change what plays on your TV’s (for instance, different seasons). The default list is named (Default), but you can CREATE A NEW LIST, RENAME LIST, SAVE LIST, then click the ACTIVATE Button to activate any list you create.
Once you click Activate, you will see an "Activation Successful" message.
NOTE ON SCHEDULING. In the Help Menu (upper right-hand corner, you can download How MOTOTV Schedules Content to understand how your Playlist is built.
If there are brands or models that you sell that we are missing, feel free to email us at mototv@mototvnetwork.com and we'll go search for videos for that model. Every model doesn't have videos, but we're always on the hunt, and as always, if you have sources, let us know!
In this section, you can choose the Lifestyle videos from MOTOTV’s licensed Content Partners that you want to see on your TVs!
Simply CHECK THE BOX to the left of any Lifestyle category you want to see, click the ACTIVATE Button and these changes will take effect the next programming day.
Note that when you check a box with an arrow, all of its subcategories are automatically checked, but you can expand the list (by clicking on the arrow), then uncheck any of the subcategories you don’t want.
You also have ability to save Lifestyle Lists in case you want to change what plays on your TV’s (for instance, during different seasons). The default list is named (Default), but you can CREATE A NEW LIST, RENAME LIST, SAVE LIST, then click the ACTIVATE Button to activate any list you create.

In this section you can upload and manage content in the different display areas on your screen (depending on your subscription). If you have multiple subscriptions you can have this content play on all or selected screens.
Main Display Area: Upload & Manage your own videos, images, and create Staff Bios to rotate with the other content you have selected.
Skyscrapers: Upload & Manage your own images
Banners: Upload & Manage your own images
You can add your inventory to your playlist (Main Display Area) using Inventory Showcase.

Instagram Feed pulls images from your Instagram account and displays them on your screens. You must have a business account set up with Facebook/Meta.
As you make new posts in your Instagram account, your screen(s) will update to display the latest posts periodically throughout the day.
To get started, connect to your Instagram Business Account by logging into Facebook.
You can add as many ticker messages as you desire, and even choose from your History to reactivate an older one.
To add a message, click ADD NEW LINE and type in your message.
To edit a message, click into the box and adjust.
To delete a message, click the Trash icon next to the box.
Click ACTIVATE to save your changes.
Click History to see your old messages to reactivate.
In this section, you can add, edit, activate, or make inactive any Menu Boards. It's a What You See is What You Get (WYSIWYG) set up to make it super easy!
Under Menu Board Settings
Choose the font from the drop-down box FONT.
Choose the style from the drop-down box Style.
Under Menu Board
Click ADD PAGE to add a new menu board page.
Click DUPLICATE CURRENT PAGE to copy the Page (tab) you have selected onto a new page.
Drag the tabs to change the order in which the Menu Board pages will be displayed.
Change the Duration of each page (in seconds).
Click VIEW ON PLAYER to display the current page on your player.*
Click STOP to stop showing the current page on the player and go back to automatically rotating between menu board pages.*
Click PREVIEW CURRENT PAGE to see a preview of what the current page will look like.
Check or Uncheck the ACTIVE check box to display or not display this page on your screens.
Click SAVE to save your changes.
Click DELETE CURRENT PAGE to delete any page you no longer need.
Contact MOTOTV to help get your Google Reviews added to your playlist(s). And you can have only the 4 or 5-star reviews shown!
Send MOTOTV your company logo to add to your screen (depending on subscription). Please send a high-res, JPG or PNG file.
