Land acknowledgement: I acknowledge that the unceded land I live and practice on was originally inhabited by the Indigenous peoples of the Amah Mutsun tribal band. I recognize the historic discrimination and violence inflicted upon Indigenous peoples, including their forced removal from ancestral, ceremonial lands, the deliberate and systematic destruction of their communities and culture, and the continued efforts to minimize or omit their experiences from our historical and cultural narrative. I commit to ongoing learning, advocacy, and financial support toward the Amah Mutson as a white person occupying this land.
