Terrey Hills: No Canteen on Terrey Hills days. Parent Volunteers are welcome to join the boys on each of the Terrey Hills visits as required. Please communicate with the Year 4 class teachers directly should you wish to volunteer for one of the visits. The teachers will confirm if your attendance is needed. Volunteers need to email a completed Volunteer Form to volunteer@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au before attending.
Photos at Terrey Hills/excursions: The school has asked that parent volunteers at school activities such as TH and excursions do not take photos of children, other than their own, unless they have parent permission in writing.
Volunteers: All parent volunteers (eg Terry Hills, Canteen, Uniform Shop, excursions) need to send a completed Volunteer Form to volunteer@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au before volunteering. The form requires a current NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC). If you submitted a form during a previous year and your WWCC is still valid, there is no need to resubmit as the school keeps them on record.
Meals With Love: This service provides home cooked evening meals for Mosman Prep families in times of need. All meals are cooked by parent and teacher volunteers and are available for as many evenings as required. This service is anonymous, so meals cooked by volunteers will be delivered to the office for collection by the family as coordinated by the School. If your family has a need for this service, please contact Julie Shortland at the School Office at ea@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au. If you are also interested in being a volunteer and cooking the occasional meal for a family in need, please contact our Meals with Love Coordinator, Georgina Ridhalgh at GRidhalgh@hlbnsw.com.au.
Training is on Wednesdays after school. Boys wear Full School Uniform to school and bring uniforms for their nominated sport in a small bag that can be stored in the classroom to change into after school. Cricket bags should be left neatly in the Undercroft in the space near the Canteen. Cricket players need plain white cricket pants or shorts, a School crested cricket polo shirt and white wide brim School cricket hat. Basketball players need the School basketball singlet and navy basketball shorts. Their Sports Uniform may also be worn at training. Mr Riddett's preference for basketball is for the boys to wear their basketball uniforms, but it is not a problem if they wear normal Sports Uniform. Pickup for basketball is 4.30pm at School; and for cricket is 4.30pm at Balmoral Oval. There is no bus back to school from Balmoral Oval.
Friday afternoon training takes place only on odd weeks. Cricket training is at Georges Heights Oval and basketball training is at school or at Marie Bashir Sports Centre (MISC). The boys can be collected at 14:45 from either location, or they will be taken back to the school where they can be collected from car lines at 15:00. The School will confirm pickup arrangements via email each Friday afternoon. At all Friday training sessions boys are required to wear their sports uniform only (navy polo). Boys DO NOT require their basketball or cricket uniforms and gear.
Team lists (with finalised venues and times) will be placed on the Sports Notice Board at school for the boys to view, sent via the School App, and placed on the School Website for parents to check on Thursday of each week.
If your son is unavailable on any given Saturday due to a family commitment, please inform Mr Riddett (Sports Master) via letter or e-mail at sriddett@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au in advance of the Saturday so that arrangements can be made. If your son is sick on a Saturday, please notify another parent on the team so that they can inform the coaches, and also email Mr Riddett.
On Saturdays, the Mosman Prep wet weather information line will be updated between 6:30am and 7am. This number has the most up-to-date information the School can provide regarding sport and excursions. Parents are to call this number and not the school office: MCEPS WET WEATHER LINE - 9990 9196 (after heavy rain Mosman Council sometimes closes its grounds, so please always check with this number for all school sport and excursion cancellations).

Use this link to sign up for a 1-hour shift any day(s) during school term. Any questions about canteen volunteering, please contact Jeff Brown on 0400410737. As a matter of compliance, school volunteers must complete a Volunteer Form and send to volunteers@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au.
