Also please remember:

Lunch boxes, water bottle, and sun hat
Spare clothes - change of shorts, shirt, underwear and socks. Please label all.
Waste-Free Wednesdays: every Wednesday, Mosman Prep encourages students to bring their recess and lunch to school in reusable containers to reduce waste.

Kindy Class Fundraiser - The Link Community Care- Our Kindy classmates would be grateful for donations of small Easter eggs, packets of hunting eggs, or larger chocolate bunnies or individual Easter gifts. Deliver to the Kindy classrooms by the end of the day Monday 23 March.
World Down Syndrome Day is on Saturday 21 March, and Mosman Prep will be holding a special celebration on Friday 20 March. This initiative is being led by Ollie (5S) and Archer (1W) Frame, supporting Down Syndrome Australia. On Friday March 20, the boys can wear mismatched/colourful socks (with school sports uniform) to show their support! See more here.
April Holidays Vacation Care - April 7th-10th Prep will host vacation care during the school holidays. See here for more information on the workshops & excursions. Please use BookMe through Hubworks to enrol.

Early Bird Pricing (Ends Wednesday 25 March)

Ivy Ballroom

Individual Ticket: $280 per person - nominate a year group or families you’d like to be seated with.
Table of 10: $2,800 - secure a table now - guest names can be confirmed later.
Inclusions: Sit-down three course meal, premium beverage package and live music.
Dress Code: Formal

Note: After 25 March, prices revert to the standard rate of $298 per person or $2,980 per table of 10.

We’re delighted to host an Early Entry Parents’ Night - a special evening for parents to connect and enjoy time together now that the school year is underway.

Absences and Travel

Absences need to be logged via the School App (Orbit) prior to 8.20am.
Late arrivals must report to Reception before proceeding to their classroom.
Early departures must be emailed to the Office and classroom teacher prior to the day - boys are then collected from Reception at departure time.
Changes to regular travel arrangements must be emailed to the school and classroom teacher by 12pm that day. For emergencies please call the Office directly on 9968 4044.

Terrey Hills

Boys will go to the Prep Terrey Hills campus ~2-3 times each term - they are bused there and back - usual drop off/pick up arrangements apply.

Uniform - PE uniform with house-coloured t-shirts to be worn
No lunch orders - packed recess and lunch required
Parent volunteers are encouraged - (to support the boys cooking activities in the kitchen and help in the playground) - when the shout for volunteering is made I will pass this along.
Volunteers at Terrey Hills need to comply with the volunteering requirements as below (WWCC and Volunteer Form).
Child Safety Training for volunteers - if you plan to volunteer with Prep this year, please consider joining one of the following sessions - Tue 24 Feb @7pm (Zoom) or Thu 5 Mar @11am (Prep Library) - for more info and to register for a session see here.

Volunteering

All school volunteers must have a current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) - to apply for a WWCC see here (note that the process can take up to 4 weeks).
School volunteers must also complete a Volunteer Form - please send completed forms to volunteer@mosmanprep.nsw.edu.au at least one day prior.
Canteen - Daily volunteers are required for the recess period 10:20-11:20am. Please sign up using this link for a 1-hour shift any day(s) during school term. Any questions, please contact Jeff Brown on 0400 410 737

Second Hand Uniform Shop - Please join the volunteer roster - opening the shop once per month. If you are interested, please contact Ginny Vacy-Lyle on 0409 545 303.

Uniform Advice

Sports Uniform

Boys will wear their sports uniform (Navy Blue polos) each day.

Prep sun hat - All boys will need a Prep sun hat for play during school time.

Prep School Bag and Library Bag - don't forget you'll also need these!

Sports shoes need to be predominately white, and you will need to purchase white sports socks.

Optional - new Prep sports socks (white) from Midford - these are optional for Early Entry. Note - there has been a delay with the new socks, Prep will advise when these are available to order. Please note, the socks on the Midford website are NOT the new school socks.

Cooler months - you may like to purchase the Prep tracksuit or fleece jumper. Note - tracksuit pants sizes run very large - so you have the option of purchasing navy blue tracksuit pants from Kmart/Big W. You can also wear a plain white or navy long sleeve under the navy polo.

Second Hand Uniform shop - open Tuesdays 7.45-8.15am - located next to the Early Entry building behind the basketball courts.
