Sauk Valley Community College is willing to offer for fall semester:
ENG 101 - Comp I offered M, W, and every other Friday 8:00 - 9:00
PSY 103 - Intro to Psych offered T, Th and every other Friday 8:00 - 9:00
For spring semester the classes offered would be:
ENG 103 - Comp II offered M, W, and every other Friday 8:00 - 9:00
MAT 240 - Elementary Statistics offered T, Th and every other Friday 8:00 - 9:00
These classes would be offered in a Monday, Wednesday, every other Friday and a Tuesday, Thursday and every other Friday rotation. All of the classes being offered are considered “general education” and would be applicable to the vast majority of degree paths. Class space will be awarded on a first come, first served basis as long as the student meets the entrance requirements to a dual credit program with SVCC. Classes will be offered on site at MHS in a synchronous method. The instructor will be teaching from a classroom with multiple classrooms logging in remotely from various sites. MHS students will have a "First Hour Study Hall" in their course schedule. Any MHS students who enroll in dual credit classes are welcome to sit together during study hall and attend the class virtually.
Families would be responsible for the cost of the dual credit classes.

75%-$113.25/credit hour = $339.75/class offered
50% (reduced lunch)-$75.50/credit hour = $226.5/class offered
25% (free lunch)-$37.75/credit hour = $113.25/class offered
*some classes do have additional fees
SVCC offers a 25% discount for all dual credit students. This discount is increased to 50% for reduced lunch and 75% for free lunch.
MHS is able to offer two classes each semester for a total of four available classes over the course of the year.
Arrangements for payment plans, financial aid, etc. can be made directly with SVCC at their website.

1. Complete the Dual Credit Application Form and either drop it by or email Ms. Streets and let her know you are interested in the SVCC dual credit classes. Form is located here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vQQ4drhwdAPu3R4vTQ1eYaSbN_mUn4XUJWmPUxYPMOrSePQe5vh5yBZ5bkX_H_WNA/pub
Make sure those classes will fit into your schedule. Once confirmed, move to step #2.
2. Fill out the Student Information Form on SVCC’s website.

3. Once you have received your SVCC student number, fill out the Dual Credit Registration Form also on SVCC’s website.

4. Purchase the necessary books and materials and make payment arrangements with SVCC.
How to request your transcripts
If you do not have a Parchment account set up already:
Go to Parchment.com.
Follow the steps to set up an account choosing Morrison High School as your high school. If you have any difficulties feel free to email Ms. Streets or call her office at 815-772-4071 ext 12004
BE SURE YOU USE A PERSONAL EMAIL ADDRESS. Trust me, you don’t want this tied to your school email after you graduate. You’ll want to be able to access this account after you leave MHS’s hallowed halls.

Go to parchment.com and log in to your account
You will go to ‘order my transcript’ and select the location you would like your transcript to be sent
This is a free service while you are in high school, but there is a fee after graduation.
