Welcome to the official home page of Morris Catholic High School Fencing. This winter sport has been a proud member of Morris Catholic community since 2008. Here are some statistics about the Fencing Team:

We have held various District and State individual titles.

In 2017 we had 38 students participate. At the time, that was 10% of the attendees at the school.

We have a large number of exchange students that have been a part of Morris Catholic fencing from the beginning (For interested exchange students from China, please review our Student Handbook in Mandarin).

95-96% of all fencers at Morris Catholic fencing have begun their Freshman year with us and had no prior training. We do not require training to be a part of the team, however many of our varsity fencers train off season at local fencing clubs.

Our Team Tradition is to ensure that all people can fence when at Morris Catholic. While Varsity are usually the best fencers at Morris Catholic, we do not cut from the JV squad.

Morris Catholic is one of 60 schools that have a three weapon fencing program. NJ is the largest state of high school fencers in the country.

Every year we attend the Santelli/Cetrulo tournament. This tournament is the largest high school tournament in the world. It is split between two days. Each day's participation is about 1500 fencers
