The first 10 students enrolled at the UMN Morris to apply will receive a $2000 scholarship for the service-learning component of this course.

All confirmed students are eligible to receive one of the following scholarships. In your program application please mention if you intend to join the Peace Corps or if you're traveling internationally for the first time.
Sam and Nancy Schuman Scholarship
a)full-time, b)undergraduate students who are a junior or senior, c)attending the University of Minnesota Morris, d)who demonstrate academic merit, e)participating in an approved study abroad program prior to graduation
Stahman Endowed Scholarship
a) full-time, b) undergraduate students who are sophomores, juniors or seniors, c) attending the University of Minnesota Morris, d) who demonstrate academic merit defined as a minimum GPA of 2.5, e) who are participating in a University approved study abroad program, f) preference will be given to students with a strong interest in serving in the Peace Corps after graduation.
Thornes Family Travel Scholar
A scholarship for full-time, undergraduate degree-seeking students who have never traveled outside of North America to participate in UMN Morris-sanctioned study abroad programs.
MAX Scholarship
Support of educational opportunities for students who wish to enhance their UMM academic career through activities including, but not limited to, internships, studying abroad, community-engaged learning (formerly known as service learning) and undergraduate research.
Konz Study Abroad Scholarship
A scholarship for full-time, undergraduate degree-seeking students who demonstrate academic merit defined as having a GPA of 3.0 or greater, demonstrate financial need and are participating in a University-approved study abroad program with an academic focus. Preference will be given to Economics majors or Business and Management majors.
Study Abroad Scholarship
a) full-time, b) undergraduate students, c) enrolled in the University of Minnesota Morris (UMM) and who have completed at least one academic year at Morris, d) who demonstrate financial need in that they may not otherwise be able to afford the program, e) who demonstrate academic merit further defined as a minimum GPA of 3.0, f) are participating in a UMM approved study abroad program and have provided a compelling and knowledgeable case for why they are choosing their designated program and the outcome they wish to receive from the program.
