All About Me

Hi- I'm Jessie Pope and this is my 15 year teaching Kindergarten. I am originally from Ely, MN. I attended Itasca Community College where I was accepted into the Class Act Program. This program is for students who want to become teachers. I graduated with my AA degree in 2006 and then came to UMM where I graduated in 2008 with my Elementary Teaching Degree. 

I am married to Kevin who teaches in the high school and we have 2 children: Madalyn (15 years old), and Landon (13 years old).

We love spending time outside and taking trips back to Ely to be on the lake. I also like to read, garden, and spent time with family and friends. 

I love teaching Kindergarten and how it is different every year. I can't wait for school to start so I can meet all of the new families. If you have any questions along the way, please let me know. I want this to be a great year for you and your child that is full of learning and fun!
