Tiger Hall of Fame

• Participated on a Morris Area Athletic team. 

• Athletes must be 10 years removed from contribution from an athletic team.  

• Exceptional individual accomplishments within a sport (e.g. all-state selection, state tournaments, all-conference, school records)

• Significant contributions made to the success of a team (e.g. conference champions, team records, state tournament)

• Strong moral character, and good citizenship throughout the athlete’s life.

*Beyond these criteria, having individual and team success in multiple sports is valued, and post-graduate distinction in sports will be given strong consideration. 

• Coached a Morris Area Athletic Team.

• Coaches must be 5 years removed from coaching an athletic team.  There is an exception for coaches who have greater than 30 years of service to an athletic team.  These coaches may be inducted at any time.  

• Excellence in coaching (e.g. record, conference championships, state competitions, team state championships, individuals coached who earned championships)

• Contributions to the positive development of students and demonstration of special care and concern for the development of student-athletes.  

• Varsity coaching responsibilities over an extended period and/or coaching in multiple sports.  

• Varsity athletic programs are offered at Morris Area. 

• Teams must be 5 years removed from the season of nomination. 

• Significant contribution to Morris Area athletic success (e.g. season records, state tournament, championships, team records)

• Individuals who have made significant contributions to Morris Area athletic programs in roles other than participation in, or coaching, a sport (e.g. employees of the districts, alumni, community members, etc.)

• Longevity of contributions of time and energy to support Tiger Athletics and Cooperatives.  Contributions must exceed 10 years.  

• Strong moral character and good citizenship.
