About Summer Sizzle:
Explore a summer of hands-on interactive fun with recreation and enrichment opportunities that feature active participation and imagination. Summer Sizzle combines approximately three hours of academic enrichment a day. The rest of the day is spent playing sports or games, swimming, creative enrichment, and exploring the many facets of the Morris community and beyond.
Enrollment:
The following things are needed before registration is complete and your child can start attending Summer Sizzle:
1) Student Information/Family Information Form, Summer Sizzle Calendar, Allergy Health Form, and/or the Medication Authorization Form (if necessary) completed and submitted.
2) The Summer Sizzle registration fee and monthly contracted days are paid for in advance
3) You have read and understood the content of the Parent Handbook
*Enrollment will be limited to 12 students per pod to create approved staff/student ratios and safety measures.
Information on the Student Information Form includes: identification data, person(s) authorized to pick up your child, medical information, emergency information, and signatures from a parent/guardian. Permission and release information is also included.

Pricing:
There is a one time non-refundable registration fee upon enrollment, dependent on the date of registration. This registration fee may not be used to pay a Summer Sizzle bill balance. Financial assistance is available, based on need. Please register in advance for any of the 10 weeks.
Now—March 31 : $30 per child | $55 per family
April 1—May 1 : $35 per child | $65 per family
After May 1 until May 22: $50 per child | $95 per family
There is a charge of $35 for a full day ($49 for drop in care if available)
Families are required to pre-pay for your scheduled days approximately one month in advance (Before June 2, June 26, July 24).
Program Dates and Times:
Summer Sizzle will be in session during the summer months Monday -Thursday, from 8 a.m.-5:15 p.m. , Monday, June 2—Thursday, August 14.
Summer Sizzle will not be in session on Fridays, Thursday June 19th, or the week of June 30th-July 4th.
Pickup/Drop-Off
When a student arrives at Summer Sizzle, they are responsible for signing in at the iPad with staff. Drop-off can occur anywhere from 7:45 until 8:30 a.m. Other Drop-off times must be predetermined and scheduled with the Summer Sizzle Coordinator. Summer Sizzle students may be dropped off and picked up from the front doors of the Morris Area Elementary School. If you will be picking up your child before 4:45 p.m., please buzz in at the front doors and remain at the entry. If you are picking up your child between 4:45—5:00 p.m., please remain with your vehicle in the pick up lane, and a staff member will bring your child out. All children must be picked up by parents or other authorized persons. Only those persons authorized on their registration form will be allowed to pick up the child. If someone other than an authorized person will be picking up your child, the Summer Sizzle supervisor or coordinator must be notified. We will not release a child to any person not listed on the registration form. For any adjustments, appointments, change in plans please contact the Summer Sizzle Coordinator so we can arrange that adequately if possible. The Summer Sizzle staff is not responsible for a child's welfare after he/she leaves.
