Explore a summer of hands-on interactive fun with recreation and enrichment topics that feature active participation and imagination. Summer Sizzle combines approximately three hours of academic enrichment a day. The rest of the day is spent playing sports or games, swimming, creative enrichment, and exploring the many facets of the Morris community, resulting in a great, well-rounded experience. Morris Area Community Education, the Regional Fitness Center, and Sodexo are looking forward to a fantastic summer!
Mornings at Summer Sizzle will include approximately three hours of academic enrichment a day introducing the fascinating worlds of reading and literacy, technology, math, and science in a format that focuses on fun.
Cooking & Baking
Afternoons at Summer Sizzle will include approximately two hours of swimming and water play 3 days a week at the Regional Fitness Center. One day a week will be spent on a Summer Sizzle field trip or participating in a special event!

Full Day (Over 4 Hours) | $30
Half Day (Up to 4 Hours) | $18
- Weekly field trips + events
- Time with licensed teachers + experienced staff
- Literacy and reading instruction from Minnesota Literacy Council Summer Reads VISTA members
- Use of Regional Fitness Center facility
- Two snacks - AM + PM
- Hot lunch provided by Sodexo on the UMM campus

All of the registration materials must be read, completed, and returned to the Morris Area Community Education office before your child is considered fully registered. Your registration fee must be included as well.
