Each project must have a display for the day of the Science Expo.
The form of the required display is up to the student. It can be the traditional “tri-fold” type presentation board or it can be something else that provides the same functionality. Digital displays are acceptable.
9th grade students: It can be a tri-fold type presentation board with the QUAD CHART (see below) or it can be something else that provides the same functionality and QUAD CHART. Digital displays with the QUAD CHART are acceptable.
The purpose of this display is to show the judge and viewers the goal of the project and the various steps or conclusions that were involved.
If any visual images are used, appropriate credit must be given and any required copyright clearances must be provided.
Display is attractive, easy to read, and the layout is in appropriate logical order.
Any visual aids promote the understanding of the project.
Graphical information that will clarify the project’s scope or details.
A list of materials used, and any construction methods used to build any custom apparatus.
A work cited that shows any research sources.
The presentation time is scheduled for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of 10 minutes in duration.
