Understanding how your brain works can provide valuable insight into your strengths, challenges, and the best strategies for success. Psychometric evaluations are specialized assessments that measure areas such as attention, concentration, memory, processing speed, executive functioning, and other cognitive skills.
As part of our evaluation process, we utilize the Nesplora virtual reality assessment platform to assist in the evaluation of ADHD and attention-related concerns. This innovative technology places individuals in realistic everyday environments while measuring important aspects of attention and executive functioning. The goal is to gather objective information about how a person responds to distractions, maintains focus, controls impulses, and manages tasks.
An ADHD evaluation is not based on a single test. The assessment process may include a clinical interview, review of personal and educational history, standardized questionnaires, and psychometric testing through the Nesplora platform. By combining these sources of information, we can develop a more comprehensive understanding of each individual's unique needs.
Our evaluations are designed to help identify strengths as well as areas where additional support may be beneficial. The information gained can guide treatment planning, educational accommodations, workplace strategies, and other recommendations that promote long-term success.
We are committed to providing a respectful, supportive, and evidence-informed assessment experience for children, adolescents, and adults.
