I have highlighted physical connections and how busy we used to be in comparison to our current situation. The second and third page use imagery that show what my personal life used to be like before self isolating. The final page covers the governemnt guidelines which is juxtaposing to the previous pages as it shows our new 'normal.'

Agnes Toth uses mixed media and paintings to create fragmented imagery. She challenges the audience to interact and create experiences from her fragmented stories. This inspired me to look at parts of society that have been broken and become disconnected due to Covid-19 and self isolation.

In my research I wanted to incorporate panic buying and how lockdown has affected myself and my family's shopping habits. I noticed that my family were doing more regular shops and I was ordering increased amounts of clothes/home deco online. I collected some packaging from our purchases and created a weaving sample from this.

I wanted to explore how people have been communicating with each other during self-isolation, as physical contact is not an option. I also wanted to explore how designers and photographers have been staying in contact with clients during lockdown. The images below are shoots that creative directors have produced via Facetime or zoom. I wanted to recreate my shoot over Facetime.
