As a working professional, wife, and mother, I empathize with the difficulties of finding balance in our daily lives. I am passionate about working with couples and individuals and believe that our health begins with our relationships - including the ones we have with ourselves. Working collaboratively with each client, I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship that promotes health and healing.
I use a person-centered approach to therapy. This means that I will work with you to develop a treatment plan that meets your unique needs. I utilize a variety of modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. In addition, I have been trained in both EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and the Gottman Method for Couples Counseling.
I believe in providing care and compassion to my clients at every step of the way. I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental environment for them to heal and grow. To achieve this, I will take the time to understand your unique background and the history of the presenting problem. With this information, I will formulate a customized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and needs. Once we have a clear focus and goals in mind, we can work together towards achieving them.
I provide phone consultations before booking appointments and remain available to answer any questions you may have. I understand that seeking support can be an intimidating and overwhelming task, but I am here to guide you on your journey towards healing.
