This geography course is outlined by the state of Georgia and designed to help students understand the basic concepts between cultures, their geographic locations on Earth, and how that relationship influences the governmental and economic climate of those societies. The themes of geography include: location, human-environment interaction, culture, movement & migration, governance, production distribution & consumption, conflict & change, and time, change & continuity. Students will focus on the relationships between these topics in the context of world geography and their relevance to the 21st century.​
