Social Studies

Hello!! My name is Krystal Shields, and I am going to be your social studies teacher this year. I look forward to getting to know all of you! This is my 23rd year teaching, and I have taught Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies (a few years teaching all three). Madison is my hometown and a wonderful place to live. Currently, I live in Jackson, Georgia and travel an hour to get to school to teach you because I love this school so much!

I am married with a daughter and three stepchildren, two granddaughters, and four rambunctious dogs! My husband and I both love football, especially college football - GO DAWGS! When we are not taking care of our youngest granddaughter, you can find us in the mountains ( I love waterfalls), at festivals, or on the farm. My hobbies include reading, going to flea markets, and watching true crime. I can't wait to find out more about you!
