HOMEWORK:

Homework: we will start the year off with 4 math problems (4 STAR Problems) to complete each night (1 addition, 1 subtraction, 1 multiplication and 1 division.They) They will write them down daily in their agenda and will need to solve them in their math composition notebook. We will tart off easy and difficulty will increase throughout the year. Math homework should not last more than 15 min a night.

A study guide will be given one week prior to the test. Unless assigned as a homework assignment students are not expected to complete for homework. This is a guide for how parents can help their child prepare for the unit test at home. Please keep in the math clear sleeve and return to school daily. We will go over all answers at school.

• We will complete a Weekly Review each week. It is to be completed in class. It is due each Friday for a grade. (This is not their homework assignment, it will be in addition to if not being completed in class)

Weekly Quiz: Students will have a quiz every Friday over weekly standards /tickets out the door (TOD). TOD will be in their math clear sleeve if you would like to keep up with what they are working on in class.

​What ELSE can we do at home:

• Math Facts- check homework sheet to see which facts your child needs to practice. Check google classroom for link to games or flash cards- multiplication.

• Khan Academy- 4th grade mission to get caught up on. Or any assignments.
