We warmly welcome Emilia and Lena back to Belgium. They were picked up by Lies and Joke and immediately got to enjoy Belgian cuisine.
On day 2, we headed into the classrooms. Together with the students, we worked on various ICT tasks, such as using the Bee-Bot and Lego WeDo. In the evening, we couldn't leave out the Last Post from our program. It was truly moving to see everyone come together to remember the war and honor the fallen soldiers. We even took part in the ceremony ourselves. Everyone was given a poppy to wear, and we carried the wreaths forward.
On the final day, we returned to the classrooms. The 5th and 6th grades showcased their knowledge of the SDGs through games they had created themselves. The kindergarteners were also eager to demonstrate their ICT skills. Together with the 4th-grade students, they completed several tasks on the Chromebooks. As you can see, Keep IT Simple, so even the little ones aged 4 and 5 can manage it!
