Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) is a program through Moorhead Community Education for area families with young children. ECFE staff partner with parents to offer learning experiences for their children from birth to Kindergarten entry. The purpose of ECFE is to strengthen families and support parents in providing the best possible environment for the healthy growth and development of their children. ECFE

Parenting Guidance understands that parenting is a challenging and oftentimes overwhelming experience. Our program connects you with a free parenting coach and therapist-created content to help you navigate the ups and downs with confidence.

Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) Child Caregivers offer legal, unlicensed child care to many families.

Parent Support Outreach Program
Parent Support Outreach Program (PSOP) workers conduct comprehensive assessments of families’ needs and strengths and, together, make decisions about what services or community resources are the best choices for success. Short-term help may be available to families with concerns regarding:
Basic needs (food, clothing and housing)
Family health (medical care, mental and chemical health services)
Parenting
Transportation
Child care
Financial needs (budgeting and financial assistance)

Jeremiah Program
The Jeremiah Program serves single moms and their children experiencing poverty in Fargo-Moorhead. Their mission is to disrupt the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, two generations at a time. JP believes that no mother should have to choose between investing in herself and her children.
