Therapeutic Services update

Our events so far this month:
One of our young people has given birth to a lovely baby boy (arriving 2 weeks early fit and healthy), it's lovely news to see families grow and so exciting to get a wee cuddle with new arrivals.
I've also supported 2 young people with crisis situations, this is always challenging and my role is to make sure communication and links with local partnerships and services are in place to smooth the journey. I did have to contact emergency services on both occasions, however, both young people are now safe, secure and on the road to recovery. I'm so grateful that they trust in me to connect when things get tough and I'm in a position to make a difference. We are now meeting weekly for me to provide emotional support, guidance and help them make positive plans for their future.
Another young man secured employment, my involvement was to drive him to the interview and The Jane Moore Trust kindly provided funds to cover his travel expenses until his first pay - what a difference this has made - without this, he would have been unsuccessful, what a great outcome!
Other work has me involved in designing charity applications with the support of my line manager Stephanie Hillman, we are enjoying the opportunity to demonstrate what we do to potential funders, in the hope that they will get on board and help us to develop and grow our service.
