You can call, text, or email me to check if I have an opening that fits your schedule. I’m here to help and will respond as soon as possible to assist with your mental health needs.
We have limited in-person availability, but offer flexible options to ensure you receive the care you need. You can choose between in-person sessions or telehealth services, depending on your preference and convenience.
A typical therapy session lasts 60 minutes, providing ample time to discuss your concerns, explore solutions, and develop strategies for personal growth.
How often should I attend therapy?
For therapy to be most effective, it's important to commit to attending weekly sessions.
Costs & Insurance
How much is private pay?
We offer private pay sessions at a rate of $100 per hour for those who prefer not to use insurance. While this option provides flexibility, we generally do not recommend it as a long-term, cost-effective solution for individual therapy. If you're looking for more sustainable options, we encourage discussing insurance coverage or exploring a sliding scale fee, which can make therapy more affordable over time.
Do you accept insurance?
We accept most major insurance plans
Do you offer sliding scale fees?
We offer a sliding scale for fees based on income to ensure that therapy is accessible to those who may need it. This allows us to adjust the cost of sessions according to your financial situation, making mental health support more affordable.
Confidentiality & Privacy
Is my information kept confidential?
All information shared during therapy sessions is kept strictly confidential in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines. We follow all regulations to ensure your personal details and the content of our discussions remain private.
Are there any exceptions to confidentiality?
All information shared during therapy is kept strictly confidential, with a few exceptions required by law, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if mandated by a court order. We will always ensure you're informed and comfortable with how your information is handled.
Getting Started
What can I expect during my first session?
During the first session, the focus will be on getting to know you, understanding your needs, and determining if we're a good fit for working together. It's also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the therapy process and what to expect moving forward. If, at any point during our work together, you feel that a referral to another professional or service might better meet your needs, we are more than happy to provide one. Your well-being is my priority, and we are here to support you in whatever way is best.
How do I prepare for my first therapy session?
To get the most out of our session, it can be helpful to come prepared with a specific need or issue you'd like to focus on. This can help guide our conversation and make the session more productive. Additionally, please fill out any required forms ahead of time so we can make the best use of our time together.
For telehealth sessions, please ensure you are in a quiet, undisturbed space where you can talk openly and feel comfortable. A private setting with a reliable internet connection will help ensure we can focus on your needs without distractions.
How do I know if therapy is working?
You’ll know therapy is working when you start noticing positive changes in how you feel, think, and behave. Self-reporting progress is an important part of the process, so you’ll have the opportunity to share your experiences and any improvements or challenges you may be facing. We’ll reassess your goals every 3 months to see how things are progressing, but if needed, we can reassess goals earlier to make sure we're on the right path and adjust the approach as necessary. Your feedback and active participation are essential in helping us work toward your goals effectively.
