Montvale's curriculum is designed to support every student in order for them to maximize their individual potential to develop lifelong learners who are equipped with the skills, and mindset to be successful The Montvale School District continues to coordinate and advance all district instructional programs. Our district curriculum and evaluation committee consists of teachers, and administrators, who meet with the regional curriculum coordinator to evaluate and revitalize curricula based on student needs, research-based best practices, state and national standards, and standardized assessment results. The Montvale DEAC (District Evaluation and Advisory Committee) creates meaningful professional development opportunities to enhance student learning and instructional practices. Our professional development for teachers offers them an opportunity to engage and focus on the rigorous student learning standards and the regional curricula. We utilize technology in the classroom as instructional tools to support learning and enhance our curriculum. Our annual professional development plan offers teachers a variety of learning opportunities offered in and out-of-district.
