About Me
About Me
My name is Brianne Aubin. This is my fourth year teaching Kindergarten at Montour School District, the BEST DISTRICT IN THE WORLD! I have two Pomeranian puppies that I love with all my heart: My baby boy, Teddy who is two, and my new baby girl, Nymeria (Mimi) who is just 4 month old.
I love to read all types of books in my spare time. I am obsessed with the Harry Potter book and movie series, as well as the Song of Fire and Ice series of books (Game of Thrones)...well, if the next book ever gets released that is! : ) Whenever I feel the need to relax, nothing seems to help me as much as putting together a Lego set. I am an astronomy nut, and love anything that has to do with discovering space and the universe. My favorite holiday is a tie between Halloween and Christmas, and my decorating is proof of this! My favorite animal is the orca, or killer whale, and I love animal trivia. I have a passion for learning that I have been told is absolutely contagious, and I am sure this will be evident by watching the development of your little student this year!

Dear Family,
Welcome to my class! I am pleased to inform you that I will be your child's kindergarten teacher this school year. I am very excited to have this opportunity to work with you and your child.
I am truly looking forward to a very fun, exciting, and successful school year for all of us. To ensure this success, communication is very important. Our best source of communication will be your child's papers. Please check your child's backpack daily. First, and most importantly, you are able to monitor your child's progress by checking their daily work. I write on the worksheets to let you know if your child is having trouble in a certain area and needs extra practice. It also keeps you up-to-date with classroom and school news. Finally, you never know what surprises you may discover in your child's backpack!
If you should ever have a question or concern, please do not hesitate to send me a note in your child's folder (this would be the easiest and best way... please use a clip and attach it to the folder),or you can always email (aubinb@montourschools.com), or give me a call (412.489.8300 x 4117). I promise to get back to you as soon as possible.
