Classroom Rules:

1. Be positive and kind

2. Raise your hand

3. Walk always and work quietly.

4. Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.

5. Follow directions

All students start off each day on green. If they have difficulty following a rule, they will receive a warning. If they continue to break the rules, they will move to yellow and then to red. Any child not meeting the class expectations will lose recess time or other privileges. If they move to red, a behavior notice will be sent home. This notice must be signed and returned the next day. As the year gets underway, please discuss with your child how these expectations can be demonstrated in the classroom, hallway, bathroom, cafeteria and on the bus.

Rewards:

Verbal praise, stickers, treats, small prizes positive notes or phone calls, ‘fun’ classroom activities, homework passes
