Hello!   My name is Sheri Hurt and I will be your child's special education teacher in the K-2 Life Skills and Autistic Support Classroom.  I live in Kennedy Township.   I have 2 dogs, Chevy and Bella, whom I adore. I just got married in June 2023 at the beach.  This is my 21st year teaching in the Montour School District.  I am a Duquesne University graduate with a bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education.   I have also completed some graduate level courses at Slippery Rock University. 

I love to travel.  I have been to multiple states and countries.  I even lived in Rome, Italy for 3 months while I attended Duquesne University's Italian Campus. 

I am very excited to be your child's teacher this year.   We are going to have an amazing year. :)
