I have been teaching in the Montour School District for 20 years and this is my 18th year in Kindergarten. I consider it a privilege to teach at Montour Elementary and a blessing to be able to do what I love every day!

Some of my favorite things are: dark chocolate, green tea, giraffes, fresh flowers, traveling (especially to the beach!), gardening, cooking, reading and pretty much anything fitness related! I am an ACE certified fitness instructor and attended Yoga 4 Classrooms training. I love to incorporate what I learned into our classroom whenever possible.

I believe in cultivating an environment where students are loved, safe, supported and respected. I believe learning happens when students feel accepted and comfortable taking risks. I believe I can learn just as much from my students as they can from me. I believe this is going to be a wonderful year of Kindergarten!
